Abstract

This article presents not well known facts how was hidden the truth about Katyn genocide. Author tried to concentrate on official state propaganda and the task to false the history. According to the author opinion 13 th April 1990 is the date finishing 45 years period of lying on this tragedy circumstances. In this time Russian radio and television broadcasted official statement. Russian side took responsibility for the genocide on Polish officers and burden for that NKVD. It was not the end. Many important facts has been researched by historians. Access to many archival documents became difficult and in many cases impos- sible.
