dc.description	Agricultural industrial diseases are submitted as part of public insurance for the farmers. The act from 20 December 1990 about the national retirement insurance of farmers, obliged the Agricultural Social Insurance Fund to conduct a preventive activity. They made assumption then that it was more favourable to conduct preventive and rehabilitation action than not to carry it out and to incur costs of the payment of benefits. dc.description.abstract	Rolnicze choroby zawodowe podlegają ubezpieczeniu w ramach społecznego ubezpieczenia rolników. Ustawa z 20 grudnia 1990 r. o ubezpieczeniu społecznym rolników zobowiązywała KRUS do prowadzenia działalności prewencyjnej. Przyjęto wówczas założenie, iż korzystniej jest prowadzić działania prewencyjne i rehabilitacyjne niż ich nie realizować i ponosić koszty wypłaty świadczeń.
