Abstract: So, what we have said allows us to conclude that the Caspians and Hyrcanians are being identified, according to the data kept in the sources: the first has been the name of the tribe itself, and the second has been the totem of the same tribe, which gradually becomes as the ethnic name and has a collective nature in separate cases. As a result of the movement the Caspian-Hyrcanians appear also in Transcaucasia, which shows the sources. Later on the Hyrcanians, assert living in the territory of the Eastern Georgia, give the name Vrkan-Varkan-Varjan to it. So, the XI and XV satrapies have been located in the Middle Asia, but in the separate geographical territories and every attempt at their movement in Transcaucasia does not correspond to the historical reality.
