Abstract: The article deals with the influence of Jan Hus on the spiritual life of the Eastern Slavs: Russians, Ukrainians, and Belarusians. The author analyzes historiography and bibliography on the question, focusing on three aspects of Jan Huss reception in Russia: 1) Slavophilism (Jan Hus, a Slav, fighting against Catholics); 2) Jan Hus as an European and Catholic; 3) Jan Hus as a representative of Reformation and an enemy of the Cristian church in general. In Ukrainian reception of Jan Hus as a personality and thinker two aspects prevail: 1) philosophical (Reformation ideas in 15-17th century), 2) literary (inspired by Taras Shevcheno's poem "Heretic"). The article also draws attention to the connection between the ideas of Jan Hus and the Judaizers. To interpret this issue the author brings together the texts of two scholars Dmitrij Tschizewskij and Victor Stroyev
