dc.description.abstract The consequence of treating people as a source of competitive advantage is the demand for the integration of a human capital management strategy with the overall business strategy. This implies the need for the practice of human resource management, not only at the operational level, but also at the strategic one, and hence develop a system for measuring the effectiveness of this process. Acquiring the objective knowledge about the effectiveness of human capital management, which will help understanding the relationship between the state of the capital and the success of the organization, becomes essential for achieving a competitive advantage. pl
